Hi everyone,
I have set up a club in the lesser known freediving area of Worcestershire/midlands. I know this is a weird place to set up but hey for those of us in this area who want to train and have fun then this is the club for you. I have made a website for those of you who want more info.

www.freedivinguk.com

I also know what your thinking... where is there to go in Worcestershire? Well I am not saying I can provide a 30m deep pool, but use of a pool is available. This club is only set up to let freedivers use a pool to do laps underwater, static or just to have fun. I cannot provide teaching as I am not certified.

if you cannot get on the site then my email tom@freedivinguk.com or you can just leave a reply on this site :)

Hi Tom
Just a reply to offer the help of the BFA in any way needed. We have been in contact and you should have a better idea of the pros and cons of what you intend. Stay safe and never train alone.

Tom,

I'm interested - there are also some other freedivers training in Leamington Spa, Remi and Jon71 I think...

send me some more details like times and days you intend to train.

David

That sounds nice.
Indeed we are training in Leamington with Jon71 and are looking for some other places to train with not much success so far.
When do you plan to train?
Worcester might be too far for evenings, but I would be interested by the week-ends.

I would like to invite you to come to leamington when we train, but I don't really know if it is possible. We are training in the pool when the scuba club is there. And it is already very busy. You could still try if you want. That's for you David as well, but it might be a bite far for you !!

hey Dave and Remi,
Well as this idea and website are very new, ie three days old I still am sorting out the situation with the BFA. I never knew about the political side of things. Silly me really. I only put the website together in a day and wanted to pull some locals together with it. I would love to come over and train with you guys too. I am awaiting my new fins at the mo as my other fins were left in Bermuda. Contact me through my email tom@freedivinguk.com and then I can contact you directly about times etc to meet :)

Hi Tom,

bit of a long shot seeing as your post is from 2005, but I've just moved to Worcester and am looking for other freedivers in the area to try and set up a pool session. Let me know if you're still in the area and interested.

Cheers,

Steve
