Freediving places in Croatia

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hello!

Planning a freediving trip to Croatia at June 2013. It seems that there's a plenty of diving places along the coast line so it's quite hard to choose where to go. We are planning two weeks trip, the first week staying at sail ship and second on main land. Could anyone please give us some tips / recommendations where to go? Especially the second part of the trip is still open. For that we might be looking a place to stay near some diving center that could help us with arrangements.

Lots of such places in Croatia.Good bases are on Murter,Brac,Hvar.
Along all coast you can find lovely places for freediving and spearfishing. You neednt to look for scuba bases
Croatian guys can give you some hints.
On Medfish you can meet guys from there.
Ask Pero,one of local specialists

Thanks for the tips, have to check the places that you mentioned!

We start and end the sailing from Dubrovnik. At this moment Cavtat is under inquires for the continent part of the trip. Any ideas for that?
 
Kvarner with Cres,Krk and other islands is nice as well.

we mainly freedive at weekends,
I have a 5-meter speed boat
buoys and ropes for freediving.
