I am very, very new to freediving, and I live in Northern California, by Sacramento. Does anyone know of anywhere near here that I can learn how to freedive from instructors or at least someone who knows what he/she is doing?

There's a school here in Cayman Islands. It's called Dive Tech. But if you ever decide to spend the money to come here and take the over priced course give me a call. ($30 C.I. for just a buddy and the lessons go from about $225 C.I. If you wanna go deeper then 100ft you have to pay some serious money for hiring support divers.) I have the manuals and you can stay with me for free.
