Performance Freediving http://www.performancefreediving.com/ usually has clinics in California once a year. The next one starts October 18. If you’re interested you had better contact them right away to see if there is room.

There's a school here in Cayman Islands. It's called Dive Tech. But if you ever decide to spend the money to come here and take the over priced course give me a call. ($30 C.I. for just a buddy and the lessons go from about $225 C.I. If you wanna go deeper then 100ft you have to pay some serious money for hiring support divers.) I have the manuals and you can stay with me for free.
