I'm spending a couple of days in Cozumel or Playa del Carmen and need a freediving buddy! Cenotes would be great + some reefs. Why not spearing too. No previous experience from here - any tips welcomed!

All the guided diving in Cozumel.is pretty much all in a marine park. All the good freediving and spearfishing is in the north and east side of the island. The north has very strong currents and the east side is a decent boat ride over. But it's doable. If you go to the marinas and talk to some fishermen that is probably your best bet.
