Hi,

I'm looking for some ideas for Freediving Vacations.

Some parameters.
- 10-14 Days
- in October/November
- not to expensive
- Training for deepdiving possible
(I'm based in Germany)

I tried to google but I need some hints, with background.

Regards Andreas

Well the water is still warm in Florida in October, that's one possibility. Although you have to get miles offshore in most places to get very deep. But there's tons of vacation hotels and timeshares though at reasonable prices.

Gili T Island near Lombok. Nice water and seem like nice people at the freedive school there.
Certainly is deep enough there.

mallorca, .. the sea has recovered from the tourists and it shows itz beauty and lots of life, what depth are you aiming for?

Are still looking for? I'm going to Dahab on early November, looking to find a buddy and yes...training deep dives!

Florida has mentioned would work, water still good and it's only a 15-20 min ride out to the gulf stream with as much depth as you need.

Hawaii (the big island), Kona coast. Very steep drop-offs on nearly the entire island...kick out 400M and be in 100M water, 30M+ viz on average, very calm water with no current, warm water (fine for no suit to 2mm), plus a community of divers who train almost daily in some of the bays.

I totally agree! Kona is a freediving paradise, I felt everybody very friendly and very easy to get to train together.
