And do you have mud buttom too? It is funny to fall half head to mud during the dive :t.You're lucky Michal, we don't have more than 60, and for that one you need a boat. Generally it's here dark after 20m, so enough mental training here!
I've been doing more strength/speed work this year too. Using long DNF swims to train endurance. Diving lighter, drifting down at 1.2m/s and coming back at 1.5m/s (the opposite of what I was doing in 2008). Taking a leaf out of Herb's book and going slower in the first 20m, with only a half-hearted attempt at streamlining. That kind of thing![]()
Ah yes, you are right - I have overseen this one. I will have to add a tag for fresh water dives into my ranking, making it easier to search for themHerbert did 95 m as WR in fresh watter in 2003.
Conditions in our lake are a bit more pleasant than in yours Michal - at the moment it's 10m vis, 18c surface temp and about 8c on the bottom, thermocline at 32m. The kind of place you can hold a worthwhile CWT competition, except the wind forced us to abandon nationals earlier this year.
