Fresh water CWT

Dave, it still not a warm watter. Great performance any way. Congrats!:friday
Michal, it was a measured rope but because of the fresh water difference my watch only read 98.7m. 1.2m/s is my peak descent speed, which I only hit from about 30-40m onwards. Before then I'm going pretty slowly. The 1.5m/s ascent rate I maintain for almost the entire ascent though, so the dive was 2:50.

Kars, equalisation and narcosis seem less of a problem now. As soon as I got back into CWT after the long layoff I seemed to have a lot more air than I did in 2008. I've only had three or four weekends in deep water so I haven't been able to do FIM or CNF yet.

In 2003 when Herbert did 95m CWT, he also made an attempt at 100m CWT (in the lake). If successful he would have been the first to make this depth. He got the tag and made it to the surface but had a samba. In those days, with the old rules, a samba was an automatic DQ. But under the current rules he probably would have gotten a white card. So although Carlos was the first to do it officially in 2004 (102m), Herbert did do an official dive to 100m in 2003, although the existing rules meant a red card.
