That's a nice part of the world you're from - I used to live in Frenchs Forest for a bit and dive all around the northern beaches - Fairy Bower was always my favourite.

Apnea boy is making funny with the well worn stereotype of the aussie bloke, long in the leg, thick in the head, and jovially wearing a cork hat. He's from Manchester I assume and I can't imitate that accent, but when I try and imagine the stereotypical Mancunian there's only one person that comes to mind:

Karl Pilkington.

Find some horrific American slang, add a whole heap of "youse" in, get brought and bought wrong every time, and if you're a bloke, typically from a mine, everytime you say something such as yes, ok, sure etc etc, pronounce it rart-oh. As in, right-o. Does my bloody head in I tells ya son. Makes me wanna go and joomp oof a bridge.
