How you all going?

My name is Leigh and my partners name is Lacey. February this year we both completed the freediver course at apnea total on koh tao, thailand, and have a new found love of the water. Currently only at a depth of 20 meters but already so much more than I ever expected. Not since I left surfing behind me have i felt the way I feel when freediving, absolutely loving it.

Anyway, hoping to continue with the sport here and continue to train and get some great results.

Drop me a line if your in the area, we often go to the reef, weather permitting.

Thanks

G'day Leigh, welcome aboard!

Cairns is a bit of a freediving mecca at the moment, there's a lot of people up there training. Get in touch with Bjorn (DivingDane) on the forum, he pool trains regularly and also goes up to Lake Eacham to do some depth work - the lake is awesome for freediving. I show my ugly mug up there occasionally too, mostly to drink Bjorn's beer though ;)

Cheerio,
Ben

Hey thanks,

Thought there would be a few of us floating around up here. If I'm going up to lake eachem better break out the old wetsuit, might last more than 5 minutes that way. :)

Thanks hope to see you round.
