Hi,
Will be travelling to Patong next week and intend try a few local beaches while there. However I am staying in a hotel so won’t have access to cooking facilities. Is there a possibility I could go to a local restaurant or street market and have my catch cooked for me?

Thanks.

It wont be a problem at all most probally best bet is away from the main strip of patong ,im sure your find a locall place that will be happy to cook an maybe share some of your catch for a small fee,an if you chug enough beer your probally make some friends for life, thais love fish an fishing.

Thanks for the info mate. Could you possibly recommend any good hunting spots from the shore within a reasonable distance of Patong were I could bag a sea bass for supper. I was planning on heading to Ya Nui beach as, will try and get there early before the hordes arrive.
Cheers
