Hello,

I purchased a pair of c4 blades and a pair of sporasub footpockets. I can't use the supplied "plate" for screwing on the blades to the foot pockets, because it's in the way for my toes. It's very uncomfartable to have the toes rest on it...
We're talking about size 46-48, so I can't buy a larger size. I'm sure lots of other people have been in the same situation. How did you solve it? Will gluing the base of the blade to the fockpockets (skipping the screws) and then using silicone on the rails of the footpckets suffice?
What silicone is one supposed to use? I bought "mares silicone grease" from diveinn but it never dries, so I guess I need some other sort of silicone...

Use Aquaseal or 3M-5200 marine sealant.

Have you tried usimg a "zip-tie" through the holes instead of screws? I've done that with some of my fins and it worked just fine.

They are also know as wire-ties or cable-ties. You can buy them at any hardware store. They come in many sizes and colors.
