Going to move to Vancouver area. Never spearfishing

I am moving from Toronto to Vancouver next month. Really excited to start new ocean and Mountain life. I love diving and never spearfishing before. Looking for anyone can give advice.

Hey there! I’m not in Vancouver or even the lower mainland but they do have a variety of freedive businesses and pretty active facebook groups. Definitely lots of people to meet with up there. Ask them about spearfishing regs, as I understand there’s not a lot of fish that you’re allowed to harvest that way.

“Vancouver Freediving” is the largest FB group although there is others for the island and other areas.
