Gopro or other?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Whats the best gopro / camera for freediving? I use a gopro hero 5 black ( ill show you some footage below) but ive been told theres other brands out there that are better for your $$. true or false?
 
Don't know if this Camera is better but some say it is and or just as good as a GoPro and its much cheaper so i am going to go for one for next year.

I bought a xiaomi y4 and has same chipset of gopro but quite cheaper

It support the same gopro mount so you can use the same accessories like pole

One issue: the housing is waterproof to 30 m, GoPro's housing - as far as I remember - is 60 m. Even though I'm not going to film at 60 m, having some margin on the waterproof is a good idea,
