Grab - touching the rope?

Hi Freedivers,

Recently when I re-saw the underwatervideo from my 74m CWT dive I realised that it seems im touching the rope at 0.20 at sort of follow through with my open hand. I know I got a white card at the surface- but should I have had a yellow for grabbing the line?

Is there any way of post-judging after the protest time have expired like red cards in football (or is my white card safe - rightfully or not)

i surely can't answer to your question, but to me it seems like you're re-establishing the distance between you and the line or something like that

True. I agree, - however, I cannot remember it happening and thus I only have the video as witness.

I guess the touching is not prohibited. You can even slow down yourself as far as you keep your palm open.

You are allowed to touch the line, even run your hand up it I think, just not grab/pull. Basically you can't help yourself get down, or up, but you can keep yourself the correct distance from the line, straight, etc. Is this correct?
