Afternoon, all -

Newbie around here, and newbie to the diving world. I'm a native to the gulf coast of Florida - born and raised there for 25 years, but I've been transplanted to the heart of Texas. I grew up fishing, swimming, snorkeling and surfing all over the northwest Florida coast, so I'm no stranger to the water. But, this diving and spearfishing game is new and exciting to me, so I'm here hoping to learn. Thanks!

Welcome to Deeperblue! We've had a few members from the Dallas area in the past. Is there much diving around there?

Hi Bat -

Honestly, I'm not sure! I'm a Florida native and have a much clearer picture over there. I have barely been in the water here. I've fished a little with the wife, but havent gotten wet.
