Any other spearfishing enthusiasts in Dubai?

Also i have an issue i want to ask advise for.

When i go to about 10m, the pressure on the water presses my mask so hard agains my face that i just cant go any deeper. I actually need to go a bit higher so that i can stay with out pain.

Any idea what the hell is happening? Any advise how to resolve the problem.

if anyone goes spearfishing in the UAE area, let me know if it is ok to join.

Yes, there are definitely other freedivers &, I think, spearos in Dubai -- check out the regional section of the forum. There may be restrictions on spearing but I gather the Royal family there part take in freediving. If your mask is pressing against your face you could let a little air out of your nose into your mask.

Island_Sands was our Dubai resident staff member & glamor puss for sometime but has been quiet of late. Might be worth dropping her a public or private message to find out what is going on.

Welcome to the forums, Danny. I highly recommend that you search and browse in the forums, particularly in the Beginner Spearfishing and Beginner Freediving sections.
