Hey guys,

First time poster,

So i'm about as far from either coast as I could possibly get but we are the land of 10,000 lakes, So naturally we have plenty of opportunities to go swim and snorkel and chase fish around here.

I've haven't seen to many people from the mid-west around here but if anyone knows people around MN, WI area that are looking for training/dive buddies please let me know.

I mostly snorkel in local lakes and have got to about 20 feet down before with basic mask and snorkel fins, but looking to go a little deeper/ stay under longer. (water clarity usually isn't amazing 8-15 feet) NOTE: I just found a lake up near Lake Mille Lacs that has 25-40 foot vis!) Lakes are good up here from June-september the pools for the nice 8 month fall/winter/spring season

Well that's about it,
Feel free to send me a PM if your in the area...

Thanks for all the great info on the beginners page!

There are quite a few from MN! Welcome from Texas! I've canoed the Boundry Waters and love Walleye! My daughter takes a young group up (went this summer) every year and we may come up next summer.

There are quite a few who spear & dive up there. Try using the search engine and look up Whopperhead.
