Hey everyone! My name is Chris and I'm totally new and addicted to the world of freediving and spearfishing.

A few months back I was with some friends in a cenote and we were offered a tour of some caves by knowledgeable locals. Long story short I was swimming through the cave and started panicking when I didn't think I was going to make it to the exit point. As soon as I saw light I pushed hard off the bottom and straight into a jagged piece of limestone. 15 stitches later and I was possessed with a need to understand and conquer the fear that had overcome me. Being a retired infantry Marine I've been in stressful situations but nothing is like being underwater without the ability to surface haha.

Nice to meet you all.
