just moved into the area from philly, so much nicer diving spots out here! stumbled across deeperblue and looks like a good spot, I don't do much scuba, but freediving and spearfishing have my name all over them :)
anyone local that wants to dive feel free to drop me a line

Welcome to Deeperblue! Yes this is a very nice place. You can learn plenty, make friends, and just have fun. :)

Whereabouts is Lawndale? I suppose somewhere in the greater LA area?

Nice! Then you're pretty close to a good number of members. If you're looking for buddies, post in the 'Find a buddy and places to Dive' forum. Enjoy, and good luck!

You're up on LA Fathomiers territory. Check out their meeting dates at either a good dive store or the website Spearboard in the California section.
