Hello all

My wife and I shed our land life, bought a sailboat the Threepenny Opera and headed south in 2008.

I'm new to all things aquatic. I overcame a lifelong fear of the water and learned to swim as an adult a couple of years ago. I owe my new found skills to a very patient friend, who literally took me by the hand and led me around the reef, and to spear fishing!!

As Napoleon said, an army marches on its stomach and once I discovered that with a pole spear in hand, I could pick dinner off the reef, I have not looked back. We came back from the Bahamas this year with a freezer full of fish, all victims of my Foldaspear! I can't wait to get out there again in a few weeks.
