Hi guys,

Having spent 3 great years in Sierra Leone from Jan 2005 (10 years ago) where I was introduced and spoiled with spearfishing, I have negotiated most travel to be near the ocean. Sierra Leone was awesome, with weekend trips resulting in great catches that made us very popular with the locals who we gave all but our evening meals worth. Since then I have had the privilege to hunt with the Melanesians on Marovo in the Solomon Islands every third day for two months as part of my work (2009). Since then I have only been able to head out for a day in Croatia, an unsuccessful hour in New Zealand, however am heading to Sardinia mid week with the family and thought this might be a great opportunity to get back into it.

So, I will gladly share all of my experience and local knowledge of places I've been stationed at, and am hoping to get some feed back an inspiration to get back into it as my main hobby.

Cheers guys and I look forward to the posts.
