..was hunting for amberjacks and then saw this strange looking grouper in the distance. turned out to be a island-grouper/badejo/mycteoperca fusca , with a very rare colour-mutation.
i have only seen this once , but with much less colourvariation. just some golden spots. this one here had his whole body mixed with brown,white and golden colours. really pretty. i saw this fish a bit late during the dive, and was not really prepared to make a good filming when i saw him. but the visibility and the sunlight was awesome that day , so the colours are still pretty good while 26m down. filmed with gopro8. enjoy..
