Happy new year jks. You did well to get in. Ive been down to check vis a couple of times, but its been pretty poor. Hoping to try at the weekend...
Im really hoping to do some regular boat dives this year, so looking for a buddy with both speao and boat experience...

Well that wont be Magpie then, now if Ed came out of retirement he would be ideal!

Why not me? Eh? I have loads of boat experience.....ok so its usually pretty brief :yack but thats not my fault, its discrimination, that's what it is, you're all seasickist rofl

I certainly won't be in till the spring.

Happy new year! Retirement? Nah, just don't post that much :) Must make more effort this year though!
Ed

Heard you have snow is that correct and how often do you get it?every decade.?

We have same problem with bloody southerners !They allways have it worse!

Ha! thought that was north wales for a min looks great those tropical warm waters you have!

Yeti you must have ice burgs and polar bears up your way !Never mind murky water. The white mountain of The Llyn look quite inviting over here.Still trying to get out scallopeing.

was a bit chilly yesterday, need new gloves as mine are pretty holy.
Not much around until i got to my 'guaranteed' mullet spot - it was was to wall fish and quite amazing to experience - bass and mullet together going around me in circles. i managed to miss two shots lol.
nice to get in after ages out.
vis was ok, could see the bottom topo in 6m.

Nice one Jonny, inspiring me to dip my toes when the water clears!

Looks lovely - our vis is going between stunningly clear and about 1 ft any time even a small swell kicks up.
Must have been nice to see fish - I doubt their tartan cousins will be around in any numbers at all for a good while though :-(
