Alright guys and girls,

As the above suggests we would like to continue off the back of Mart and Sarah's stella efforts of previous years (with their blessing) with what will hopefully be an equally fun, safe and competitive weekends diving. However, as the title suggests there is going to be a new approach to the format that we hope you'll embrace.

The dates for next years weekend social 'Shore Freedive' event will be Sat 4th(low tide 1.9m 12:01pm) & Sun 5th July (Low tide 1.7m 12:51pm)but as previous years your presence for a Friday 'meet and greet' would be appreciated so as we can go through the finer details of the format and get some of the formalities out the way while also having a good old catch up.

As this is a pairs event, you will need to register as a pair, will be expected to sign on and off as a pair, enter and leave the water at the same location anywhere around Guernsey's coastline that is deemed legal to do so at the time of the event. There will be a restricted number of divers as in previous years with 12 pairs Max, on a first come basis, with a reserve list to replace any cancelled spots. Entry fee will be £20 per pair with the money being used to purely help cover the costs of hosting and prizes.

**All divers entering will need to have and show a current BSA membership for the period of the event at a cost of £25 i believe which can be obtained through 'underwaterfishing.co.uk'

A comprehensive list of Rules will follow in due coarse but will closely follow similar UK competitions

Please bare in mind that this is both a new venture and collaboration of ideas and feedback getting us to this format that we hope both appeals and is as successful as its predecessor, but if you have any queries or concerns please PM myself(Pierre) or Fro(John) and we'll do our best to help you out.
