Hey guys, the girlfriend and I are taking a trip to Cancun, Mexico in a couple months; in early August.
We have a couple of ideas of what we want to do there in regards to freediving/snorkeling. These include a trip to the Cenotes, and the Underwater Museum. However, to me at least, these things feel kind of touristy and dont seem like they provide a great opportunity for freediving anywhere past 25ft.
Has anyone been to the Cancun area? If so do you have any recommendations on where to go or who to talk to for some good diving opportunities? Again, I'm sure the Cenotes and Underwater Museum will be enjoyable but we are also looking for something a bit more freediving oriented.
