I am Lakshman from Hyderabad, India. I am newbie to FreeDiving Sport and i am really really love it.
Have done scuba dive in Goa once. No FreeDiving Experience at Sea as of now.
Although not a competition Swimmer, have managed to master underwater frogkick and dolphinkick.
Started FreeDiving Preparation in Pool since past 4 Months and it almost became a daily routine now.
As of now, i can hold breath for 3 mins(static), underwater swimming for 30Meters(nofins) & 50Meters with fins.
I am looking for a buddy interested in freediving in Hyderabad and other places in India as well.

Welcome to DB @Lakshman Kotipalli - you must be one of the first members from India. Lovely country and been to Hyderabad a few times!

I'm not really aware of much freediving in India but maybe you can help make the sport big over there! I'll do some searching and see what I can come up with.

Hi Lakshman! and fellow DBers.

I luckily met Lakshman while he was trying out underwater drills at the pool, it was pleasant and surprising, as it is very rare to see a person diving underwater here.

He is very passionate about anything underwater.
We have teamed up since we met.
I used to dive(horizontal) alone and now happy to have a buddy!

I am very happy to hear that you have visited Hyderabad. We extend warm welcome to you for your future visits .
I came to know of freediving school - Temple Adventures in pondycherry, India. They teach AIDA courses.

I am very lucky to find buddy - Zubair who is interested in underwater Swimming and Diving here at our local aquatic complex. He is a great guy.

We share ideas, techniques and practice drills ever since and it kept rollin.. Thanks Zubair!!

I hope we find more divers in and around here and keep this awesome sport moving.
