I'm from southern Germany & just started spearfishing recently. I absolutely adored the experience - which is certainly due to a very comfortable start I got since my partner has a lot of experience (and equipment) which he happily shared with me. We're now heading to Greece & I'm quite enthusiatic, even about our planned target practice sessions
Since spearfishing is forbidden in Germany, practicing here is unfortunately out of the question.
I was quite happy to find that there's a forum on spearfishing in Europe on these pages - although the photos and stories from the US definitely made me want to got there some time, it is a bit far to go for a couple of days
Naturally, I'll be happy to share my experiences from Greece with you, although I most likely won't be able to tell you what lives down where Greek spearos dive. I've watched a few videos, and was quite speechless at the depths! Anyway, looking forward to having some interesting chats!
