Hi everybody,

I bought a Beuchat Mondial Elite Carbone (gun : 1000(40")/ shaft 1300mm(51"), 6.5 mm diameter) some 10 years ago, and used it one's or twice without success .
I have more free time now, so decided to give it another try.
It is equipped with 2 x 16 mm bands, 250 mm(10") long. When I load the gun the ends of the bands are looking heavenly worn.
I have also 2 18 mm bands, 280(11") long in the same condition.
Can they break when I load them ?
I did some practice in the pool and had to aim about 6" higher to hit the target at 4 m(13'). Does this mean that my rubbers are worn ?
I ordered a NTR Bead kit, size 5/8 - 3/4, 10 ft of 5/8 and 3/4 band, a spearit bungee and europe style threaded band adapters.

Maybe tomorrow I will give it a try at our local pier.

Thanks for having me !
