More specifically, the relatively land-lubbed Worcester suburb of Shrewsbury Massachusetts.

I fancy myself as a budding fin swimmer (maybe more?), based on an earlier interest in this sort of thing back before kids when I still had a life. Now that the kids are pretty much grown up however, these former passions tend to reemerge.

Rumor has it that Narragansett Beach in Rhode Island is a relatively interesting beach swimming location. Anyone familiar with this area?

Are there any recommendations and/or reviews on a diver shop in the area called Narragansett Pier Dive Shop?

Thanks
