Just thought I would drop a quick hello to the group. I am a new member from Louisiana. I am a recreational diver. I stopped diving for a few years due to having kids and normal life issues. My son earned his OW certification last fall so I am enjoying getting back into the groove. We are headed to Coz soon and hope to hit Pensacola and PC Beach wrecks this summer. I am looking forward to learning from others within this forum.

Thanks.

Hello from another new member. Is there any decent diving off of the coast of Louisiana? I know in Texas they have to go pretty far out to get to good diving. Wondering if it is the same in Louisiana.

Not really. The only diving I am aware of is spearfishing and you need to go out a good ways to get to good water. We are too close to the MS river. I am not aware of anyone offering commercial trips as well. You have to know someone with a boat. We are so close to Pensacola and Panama City that most drive there to dive. Sorry for the delay....I don't get on this board often. Good luck.

That's what I figured but was not sure, thanks!

Hello everyone,i'm Robin, french frediver from south of France. I've had the luck to grow up next to the see, so i used to swim, dive and spearfishing, since i'm able to walk on the sand.
after few years in the water, i'm AÏda 2, and Molchano's 3. I spend most of my time in foreign country, I'm actually in Philippines, and after a short time in France, next month, I'll go to Madagascar. If anyone had any informations about this country, and the differents dives all around which 're possible to do, it would be nice !
Enjoy an d relax !
