Hello from New Zealand

Hello all Deeperblue members, I am a long time reader but only just registered now. I am a very keen spearfishermen all the way from New Zealand.

I've been Spearfishing for only 5 years now and hope to get in to freediving soon too. At the moment I'm using a Picasso Twin Speargun and it's awesome.

Hopefully I can get some more help on getting in to freediving - I've had ear problems my whole life so have not been able to dive any deeper than 4 or 5 metres so I'm a bit scared of jumping straight in to it.

I've also just started up a spearfishing website with a few other spearfishermen from New Zealand. We are trying to set up a new spearfishing site that will target spearfishers around the world and we are looking for some mad spearfishers that would be interested in providing articles on their adventures, photos, videos or anything. The site is still under major construction and while we wait for our new layout to be designed we are going ahead writing a whole lot of Spearfishing Articles (as in tips, techniques, gear reviews and have an interview with a leading USA freediver half way through) and we need some input for the story section.

So yeah, hopefully I can get some good advice for jumping into free diving and maybe some people would be keen to get some stories posted online.
