Hello from NJ USA

Hi I was born in Portugal but moved to the US in 1966. I've been spearfishing since the first time I returned to Portugal on vacation in 1970. I go back every few years for about 3 weeks and do all offshore and catching mostly Octopus and Cuttlefish. In the last 20 years I've been seeing very few Octopus and not staying in the water very long because the water seems to be colder, maybe because I'm getting older.
This year I'm getting serious (LOL) I bought a wet suit and I'm going to be staying in the water much longer, and maybe dive deeper. After all these yars I didn't know that I could go deeper if I pressurized, I learned that here along with the warnings that it could be dangerous to go deeper and longer.

Really? I've lived in NJ over 40 years, but only been to the sure a handful of times. The water doesn't seem clear at all. Were do you dive?
