Hi all! Im quite new to spearfishing and found this nice forum when I was searching for some info. Amazing! At the moment I live in Sweden and can sadly say its not much fish to spear here. My location will change to something warmer in the coming year. Hopefully I can intensify this fine hobby then...

Hello and welcome! as you say Norwegian sea I guess its the oslofjord that you are hunting in, since speafishing is illegal in sweden.If youre on facebook there is a group called uv-jakt i oslo that is for spearos in that area,good place to organize meetups and to find spearing buddies.We allso have a newly started group called uv-jakt turer wich we hope will bring more skandinavian spearoes toghether for weekend trips,fishinns and suchlike.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. Actually Im out at sea working in the Norwegian sea right now. I will check that group out. Mostly we are in and around Kristiansund, but for the moment im looking for a warmer place to visit and hopefully hunt some fish.

Kristiansund has some of the best spearing in Norway, I would consider myself lucky if that was my local waters There is a very active group of spearoes up there,take contact with the diving club kristiansund dykkeklubb.
