If you want to meet other divers the OC Spearos club might be a good place to start. They meet monthly at a pizza place in Fountain Valley. While there are some very experienced divers it’s a fairly young club with a lot of beginners.
If you’re on Facebook, there is an OC Spearos and friends group and you don’t have to belong to the club to join. Even I am on there.
