Hi everyone, I'm a certified scuba diver from greenville sc and am very interested in freediveing. Looks like a lot of fun and a very enjoyable sport.
Id love to take a class but would have to find the time, as a diver I'm quite comfortable in the water and can equalize easily and rapidly.
As far as holding my breath I average 2 minutes dry with a pb of 310. Not really tried static in water much but 130 - 200is where I am.
I'm interested to know if there are any freedivers around me that could be potential buddies.
And to end this novel of a first post a question: how does normal dive gear fair in the freedivers relm?
I understand the diferences in theory quite well but you can't beat experience even if Its someone else's
to be a little more specific I have a high volume mask full foot split fins and a 7/5 full wetsuit ( not a freedivers one haha
)
I look forward to learning from and with all of you
Best,
Adam
