I just started into this free diving world..looking to pick up any tips I can. I've just been working with a Dive Apnea app so far. It's almost warm enough here to get in the water for normal,Scuba Diving. Unfortunately there is not a free diving instructor around here, so learning is going to be slow.

Try destin fl. Benthic Ocean Sports. I'm in Ohio. I'm traveling down there in June to get me FII licence. You need to get that. If not most freedive charters ect. Won't take you. With the licence it gives everyone e a sense of security. That you know water safety, safe dive depths, blackout recovery etc...

Welcome to Deeperblue! Hope you find a freediving class soon. Even if you have to travel to take the class, it's worth it in terms of technique, safety, and peace of mind.
