Welcome on DB!

Are you also a freediver?
Any other special interest?

I found that DB is a great place to hang out, share and learn and find some very colourful lovely buddies. I love it!

Love, Courage and Water,

Nice Avatar Tasha. You've already got the boys swooning. Of course, everyone will be disappointed unless you take up the monofin now... become the Little Mermaid!

Hello everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome. So far it's just scuba diving for me and a little wind surfing. I have never tried free diving, I'm afraid i'll drown though - there goes my mermaid status :(
i mean even til now i still take some time in equalizing. so let's see how my ears adapt. :)

Once upon a time a friend of mine had the same fear. He was held under against his will and had developed a heightened fear of drowning. Then he ran into freediving and decided to work on his fear. He learned to relax and started to enjoy the water like never before. Now he's a freedive instructor and jury.
And he lives long and happily ever after. :king

That is very inspiring
