Hello (again)!
I guess a re-introduction is in order, since ive been off the boards for so long. I quit posting because I was landlocked in Atlanta GA, and had pretty much given up on the idea of my becoming an accomplished freediver, but thats all changed very recently. I am 15 years old, and my family has moved to Dublin Ireland about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am very close to the ocean, and to my amazement I havent found it as polluted then I thought it would be. I go swimming almost every day and I see great fish, I saw an absolutely huge pollack a few days ago! Just saying hi to the boards again!
Cheers,
Daniel

Hi again Daniel welcome back
I am but 60 miles from you but by ferry not car. The Irish sea can give some better than expected diving, I love it when its clear but that isnt every day, plankton can muck it up some but the good days can make up for it :) Pollockby the way make brilliant fish cakes ;)

Cool! You are in whales or britain then? This is such a thrill because I NEVER saw fish at home, except in aquariums. I only tried freediving in deep pools. My dad has an old speargun that doesnt really work, but if I ever have a mind to I may hook it back up and try and catch something. I heard anglerfish tastes good? I went swimming here once before, saw some gurnard and a big mullet, a bit to planktony though. Great to know someone else in the general are.

I'm glad that you're able to start diving again. These boards are really a life saver when you just can't get in the water - they help keep the dream alive!! Have fun, stay safe and post your stories......
