I just thought that I would say a quick hello. I am hoping to go down to Cornwall at the weekend if the weather is good. I will post some pictures if it isgood.

Does anybody know what the traffic is like at Goss Moor because of the work on making it dual carriage way.

Thanks

Pete

hi pete welcome to deeperblue don;t have any traffic info sorry

traffic at Goss Moor is always a night mare. I am going down tonight. Should be OK if you avoid peak times but bear in mind it is half term and half the UK will be taking their kids to the beach.....

I know it's a bit late but I'd avoid Goss Moor during the summer daytime like the proverbial plague. Try the following:

Tune into Radio Cornwall for traffic updates.
Try the A38 through St. Austell.
Try the more minor A roads near the north coast (A39, A392,A3075).
Try the tiny, but scenic, B roads on the north coast.
Always have a road map and be ready to take bizarre diversions.
Or, like Sam says, drive at night :)
