Good day my name is Richard and I'm new to spearfishing and I have been reading great blogs from this site and decided it's time for me to ask some join so that I can get the full deal.

Welcome from Texas! Was at Tyndall AFB as a kid in the early 70's--when you could spear off of the jetties. Went back for vacation several years ago and had a great time freediving and spearing off of the Simpson wreck. Talk about memories.

Thank you Chef Al, I'm on Tyndall now. I will can't wait to start diving at the wrecks aroud here, I've heard nothing but good things.

There is a site called divespot.com that will give you some good gps coordinates. Also get in touch with local Capt. Pat Green. He's awesome. Mostly bubbleblowing but still...PM me for info. to lead you to him as he's mostly on another forum I don't wish to plug here. +
