HELP : beuchat mundial reel setup

Hi Guys,

New to the spearfishing world and love it!

own a beuchat mundial 75cm.

basically shooting in depths up to 7 meters on reefs and caves.

just got a mundial reel but can't figure out the best setup since the reel blocks the line release mechanism (shaft => mono line => bungee? => reel)...

any explanation would help and photos if available.

Hi Idan,
Here is a picture of what i think you have: Beuchat Mundial Reel - Spearfishing World
i cant see why it interferes with the line release?
you should have the line running from the shaft, up through the muzzle, back down to the release, back up to the muzzle [1 or 2 wraps], then back to the reel. you dont necessarily need the bungy if you have double wraps, probably depends on your setup.

maybe post a picture of what you have?
