Hi Rob
I've only just joined the forum, saw a video of someone spearfishing down the Gower and thought I'd take a look. There's a South Wales thread at the link above, I got a reply pretty much straight away so there are a few people about.
I've never been spearfishing, but keen to get out this summer and have a look about underwater. Bit of a pain though as I've just been given 6 weeks of work in Cambridgeshire, so 5 and a half hours on the train every Friday now. Arse.

I saw that same link as you for the Gower. It looked pretty good. Not far to travel for me and I know the area well through fishing with a rod and line. I'll give you Ahoy if i'm going down over the summer. Depending on how work goes as always. Im new to the forum but Ive been spearfishing for 2-3 years. Love it, cant get enough. I live in Australia for 6-7mths a year purely for the fishing. The weather is not that clever at the moment so get the work in while its pants. Bit of a trek tho. Always the same with work. I'll get a thread up soon to see who's keen for a fish in the South/West wales area , see how the weather treats us first. Thanks BatRay for the info all comes in handy.

Nice one.
Dropped a ton off the bandit last night, so buying myself a gun. Won't be world class, but enough to get me started. Going for a swim tomorrow if you fancy getting out pal.
