Hi everyone,
just thought I would say hello.
I'm new to freediving and spearfishing, I used to do a lot of whitewater kayaking and more recently open canoeing (Canadian canoeing) but back problems have restricted me to just a little open canoeing. I discovered much to my enjoyment that I am pain free in the water and can fin without difficulty. I'm glad to have found a sport which is challenging without being painful. I'm not sure if there is anyone in the Birmingham area who is currently into freediving etc.. if there is send me an email.

Billybob (William)

Hi William,

Glad to hear you're getting into freediving! Do you know whether or not Dosthill quarry (Tamworth) allows freediving? I've been trying to find somewhere fairly close to dive when I'm not in N Wales, and I did my qualifying PADI dives in Dosthill....just wondering.

Ed

Hi I have just started freediving live in Tamworth, and yes they do allow freediving.
