My name is Piotr (that username has unsurprisingly already been taken ;-)) and I am primarily a scuba diver, but what has brought me to this forum is my increasing interest in freediving. Currently, I hold no freediving certification and have been concentrating on DNF, but now that I have found an instructor that seems to be willing to bear with me, I'm planning to expand -- I'm especially very curious about trying the depth-oriented sub-disciplines.

I'm planning to ask for advice on choosing a suitable watch/timer but thought it would be nice to say "hello" first...

I'm based mostly in Mannheim, Germany, but I relatively often fly to Warsaw, Poland, and there I have the pleasure of spending some very beneficial training time with Tomek Nitka.
