Hey y'all, just a brief note to introduce myself, been lurking for a while and gathered valuable tips for several trips spearfishing and diving across the globe, mostly in Southern Europe, Asia and South America (spearing isn't legal here in Germany, and the diving is mostly kind of boring...) I've been an avid snorkeler and spearfisher since I was a teenager, picked up scuba along the way, more recently trying to improve my freediving skills.
I'm going on a three month trip to New Zealand Feb-May 2015 (starting Thursday
), already bought my gear at Wettie, would be very keen to meet locals for a shore dive and/or share a boat. I'll (re)post this in the approriate forums, though.
