Hi all.
I have been out of the diving for a few years now. But I what to get into free diving. And I don't really know we're to start. So if there is anyone who would not mind helping me out with were to go and a few questions about kit. It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks phil.

Hi Phil, welcome to Deeperblue. We have a lot of information here, and plenty of knowledgeable members. I suggest using the search function and browse the forums to get familiar with them. There is a Beginning Freediving, linked here: http://forums.deeperblue.com/forums/beginner-freediving.60/ section as well as a Freediving Equipment section, linked here: http://forums.deeperblue.com/forums/freediving-equipment.14/ and there is so much information in both that it would be worth your while to check those out. If you'd like to get in touch with people from your local area, you may want to check out the International Buddy and Trip Report network, linked here: http://forums.deeperblue.com/forums/uk-ireland.139/I know it can be overwhelming when first starting a new forum, so those will get you started.

Of course, feel free to ask questions as well. Sometimes it helps to look around a little while, too, so you can get a better idea of what to ask.

I was trg in S.R.T single rope technique. (used for caving) I am apart of the S.C.R.O (Scotish Cave Rescue Organisation) so we do it from tree's as it is just easyer to set up.
