hi there
I'm new to spearfishing but already love it. I've been out a couple of times in browns bay cullercoats but have yet to catch anything. Would love to hear from any spearos in the area who are kind enough to help me with some local knowledge and show me some good spots.

No, although you may find some Newcastle threads if you keyword search. Some of the threads are also regional (northeast) or they refer to a county, i.e. Dorset. It may also help to look for some of the nearest major cities.
