Hi all,
I am living in Alicante and just taking my first steps into freediving. This forum has been a big help to me and think it will be for a long long time

Hi Rachel,
That's sounds great! About 20 minutes south of Alicante is Santa Pola where you can catch boats over to an really nice island called Tabarca. The waters are clear and plenty of marine life. I was there this week and the water temp was 27°
You can also get the boat from Alicante, but I ve been going from Santa Pola with ' The Dive Academy Santa Pola' ....great people and very knowledgeable about the island and all the best spots. I am sure a few from there would be up for a trip out too. I am still very new to this sport but love it and want to be in the water all the time and meeting and speaking to people with more experience would be great for me.
I ll send my email in a message to you and if your interested we ll sort something out?

Pete
