My name is Osama and originally I am from Saudi Arabia and I am studying here in
Vancouver. I have done alot of scuba diving in Nanaimo and Vancouver. I did spearfishing in my country just three times. And I really want to start spearfishing here in Vancouver. Still did not buy the spear gun yet.

Right now around Vancouver, greenling is the only fish legal to spear. If you travel very far north you can find areas where Ling Cod and Rockfish may be 'open', but it also depends on the time of year.

Thanks for replying! Do you know if it legal to do scuba diving spearfishing or it has to be just snorkeling?
