Hey I'm from Perth and work week on week off on the mines giving me plenty of time to dive/freedive/spear :) I'm looking for people around the area to buddy up with and dive safely.

I have my advanced scuba diving ticket but lately have gotten into free diving and spearing. I've done level 1 free diving in Gili T and recently bought a spear gun so I'm keen to meet people with the same interests to learn from. I can free dive up to around 10-15m and want to get better so always keen to get out there to practise and have fun :)

Hi Trishfish,

I live in Perth and am looking for Freediving/Spearo buddies. I have completed the "Apnea Australia : Stage B Freediving Course" (www.apneaaustralia.com.au). I just got back from Kona in Hawaii. 30metres is about my depth limit at the moment. Last year I decided to have a go at qualifying as an instructor with Apnea Australia. I'm no guru, but I live to dive :)

I'm currently training as a Wilderness Paramedic and have really flexible hours. Whether in the pool doing static and dynamic or in the ocean "line diving" or spearing, I am always up for a dive. Friends say I'm pretty safety conscious ... I only dive "one up, one down" and carry a satellite phone on my float lol :)

It would be great to hear from you and any other divers that are looking for "buddies" :)

Regards,

Aqua Thylacine.
